 Dog Photography

Locations in Mid Wales.
Pen-Y-Fan, Hay-on-Wye & Abergavenny

The majority of my sessions take place at select locations within Mid Wales. I’ve taken great care to choose a variety of locations where I know your dog will be comfortable and safe, and I’m confident that I can get the absolute best out of these stunning locations, giving you the best possible images. Sessions can take place further afield if you’re unable to make it to these parts of Wales, though travel fee costs  may apply. Contact me to find out more.

Beaches in South Wales

We have beautiful beaches in South Wales, such as Ogmore by Sea, Llantwit Major, The Knap and Jacksons Bay at Barry. However, please be aware that some beaches do not allow dogs during the summer months.

Castles and Landmarks

Castles offer a dramatic look to your photographs, Caerphilly Castle and Ogmore Castle being very dramatic, and easily accessible. Other landmarks are also very good for a backdrop to your photographs, maybe they  are a place where you live or went on holiday, all the more reason to include these memories in your photographs.

Landmarks

Pontypridd Rocking Stone, at Pontypridd Common not only has the stunning rocking stone, but also other rocks, wooded areas, heather and an open field for dogs who like to run.

Parks + woodland

Woodland walks and parks offer great areas for beautiful photographs. Different seasons and different times of the day will have an effect on the finished look. I can recommend a few areas that I know of, from open fields at Pontcanna, Rock park at Llandrindod Wells, the Warren at Hay on Wye, the River walkway at Builth Wells, Elan Valley all of which I have used on previous dog photoshoots. Other great places are bluebell woods, gentle open meadows, lakes and river walks.
